The BOE's first 10.5 generation TFT-LCD production line project officially completed

Foreign media reports, panel makers BOE (BOE) at the start of construction in northern China 10.5 generation line TFT-LCD factory in December 2015, the plan monthly production capacity of 90 thousand glass substrates, and plans to put into operation in the second quarter of 2018.

BOE pointed out that the plant investment of 40 billion yuan, mainly the production of 65 and 75 inch LCD TV. A piece of glass substrate 10.5 generation line is 1.8 times of the 8.5 generation line area of the substrate, can be cut into 6 pieces. The 75 inch panel glass 7.5 generation line substrate previously can only be cut into 2 blocks of 75 inches TV panel.

BOE from applied materials (Applied Materials) ordered a large number of CVD (chemical vapor deposition) and PVD (physical vapor deposition) equipment for the factory production.
